It used to be that you could purchase a home in an outlying community at a more reasonable price. The trade off for a larger more affordable home was a longer commute. When oil and gas prices increased, it changed the formula. Real estate purchasers were compelled to factor in gas costs as a major component of their decision making. Will the more affordable electric car models and more prevalent charging stations increase demand in outlying communities in the future? Most electric cars now have a minimum range of 90 miles. #RealEstate
